Slade 2007

2007 has been a good year for Slade fans with a lot happening. The last of Union Square Music’s re-releases of Slade albums were out along with a brilliant re-issue of the film ”Flame”.
Noddy has been everywhere in the press, he has made loads of public appearances and finally he got a star at Birmingham’s ”Walk of Stars”.
Don and Dave have been touring all over with Slade and in 2007 they did more than 60 gigs in 7 different countries. Furthermore Don guest starred in the musical ”Oliver T.” at the Team Theatre in Herning, Denmark.
Even Jim surfaced with the highly acclaimed solo-album ”Therapy”, the download album “The Official Bootleg Of Jim Jam Live At The Robin 2 - 16th Nov 2002”, a website, a My Space profile, several interviews and a public appearance as guest judge in a live band competition at the Robin 2 in Bilston.
And of course “Merry Christmas Everbody” charted once again in England and made it to no. 22 in the single charts and 14 in the download charts.
Above you’ll see some of what happened this year, Don shooting pool in his Danish home in November, Nod getting his star in Birmingham in December, Jim acting as guest judge in Bilston in December, and Dave at a concert in Vejle, Denmark in October.
I want to thank all of you who keep up with my blog and I wish you a wonderful 2008.
