Noddy at the Civic

A Wall of Fame honouring the Black Country’s home-grown talents has been created as part of the celebrations to mark Wolverhampton Civic Hall’s 70th anniversary. Noddy became the first name on the Wall of Fame and music promoter Maurice Jones was also added along with John Penney from the indie rock band Ned’s Atomic Dustbin.
Noddy made a special appearance when the Black Country’s entertainment industry was honoured at the Express & Star’s Spotlight Awards on May 4th. He presented the award for Best Large Concert Venue to the Civic Hall and on the pic above you can see him on stage with his Wall of Fame sign.
Thanks to Claire for letting me use her photo.
