Slade in Norway, May 23-25, 2008

Slade did two concerts in Norway last weekend, one at the Classic Rock Festival in Sandnes on May 23 and one on Byscenen in Haugesund on May 24. The owner of Byscenen, Helge Berthelsen, gave me a free trip to Norway to witness the events. I don’t really know how it came about, except that I had helped out with some info and other things regarding Slade, and Lars Ove Stroemoe from The Slade Mailing List thought I should be thanked for this wherefore I got the offer to go to Norway, flight and hotel included. I’d never been to Norway before, so of course I accepted!
